Worth the Wait! Edwina and NicholasEnchanting Beach Wedding

by WDN

It was a beautiful evening when Edwina was introduced to Nicholas by their mutual friends. There were so many attractions between the two and it was perfectly love at first sight. Edwina and Nicholas have so many things in common and they literally became best of friends. Nicholas couldn’t wait to unleash the lovely and exceptional traits Edwina is made up of, and he decided to be a very close friend with her by inviting her for a series of intimate dates. Nichola’s love for Edwina continued to grow in every second, minute, and hour. Unknowingly to Nicholas, Edwina fell the same way for him and she was always looking forward to their romantic dates.

Nicholas and Edwina dated for 3 and half years before deciding to pop the big question on one of their dinner dates. It was a calculated and perfectly planned proposal. Edwina literally didn’t see it coming!
The madly in love pair got married a day after Christmas and their romantic beach wedding held at Labadi Beach Hotel in Ghana was a fairy-tale affair.

It was a dream come true for the lovebirds. See the couple’s romantic beach wedding photos captured by Paa Kofi Hazel and read their sweet love story.

The Beginning of Forever

We met through mutual friends at a BBQ in Morristown, NJ. We clicked right away and the attraction between us was evident. Thereafter, we had several brunch and dinner dates and I knew from my heart this was someone I could spend the rest of my life with. We dated for 3.5 years before the big proposal. Nick proposed to me on October 3rd, 2014 at the Charthouse restaurant in NYC overlooking the Hudson river and city skyline. It was certainly a heart-melting and wonderful experience.

The Memorable Proposal

His best-friend, Peter visited us from Dallas and suggested we go out to dinner that night. We got to the restaurant and everything seemed normal; the food and wine were awesome and we all had good conversations going. There was a live guitarist playing and singing but of course, I thought he was singing to everyone at the restaurant only to find the guitarist walking towards our table. I still didn’t get the big picture, I asked Nick if he had cash on him to tip the guitarist and he said “No”, I felt bad leaving him without a tip so I immediately reached into my purse for money. As soon as I picked my head up from going through my purse, there was Nick, down on one knee! He then proposed to me! My friends and family walked in cheering right after, I couldn’t believe it, I just don’t know how he pulled it off, I had no clue; it was magical and the best surprise ever
