From the source:
It is sad to see that many ladies of these days can’t stand by a man with purpose and vision like this today. Most ladies want a man that has ‘arrived’ but forget that most men that walk with God need to grow in Him even as they (The ladies) grow with him (The husband).

Some of our mothers married our fathers when they had nothing to their names and together they grew to where they got to. Sadly, some of those parents will not accept a spouse that doesn’t have much to his or her name when their child wants to be joined with one. Who upturned our values? Who said you need to ‘arrive’ before taking a helping hand and obtaining blessings from God?

Yes that is because, these parents have gone through and tasted poverty and do not wish any of their children go through such. Secondly, He loved, cherished and respected his wife. How about when you stand by this man through thick and thin and when he becomes somebody someday, he forgets the woman……

You need to know Papa’s heartbeat for God to have better perspective.
See Matthew 6:33, Matthew 19:29; 1 Corinthians 2:9

Finally, See Hebrews 6:12 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

honestly we should out grow this talk of ladies looking for men that has arrived and pushing away the opposite. Beautiful piece there by Leke Beecroft but may i remind u that our parents worked hard to make names so we wont go through what they went through, so we can have a beautiful and comfortable life. Bishop was never without riches though not physical cause it will only take a man who is rich inside to pull out what he has today by God’s grace. Why do men work hard today, why do they wait to be comfortable before getting married? Because they dont want to struggle to cater for their family. Am sure Leke Beecroft had essential things in place before he got married, if he is married and also will put things in place before he gets married, that is if he isnt. No parents will want their children running back to them for daily bread or have ur daughter or son and their own family live in ur house where u will be their bread winner.
Speaking as a woman, am not saying the man should have it all but there are basic things a man should have before settling down. U used Bishop as example; he had a job before getting married, he wasnt penny less, he had accommodation and it is not a must to stay in an hotel after ur wedding ceremony. Talking about challenges he went through and his wife standing by him; challenges is a must to be faced as long as u are here on earth and same way his wife stood by him then is same way some women back then didnt stand by their husbands cause of challenges so dont make the women of now look material consciuos or even make Bishop look old. What we see now did not start with this generation but has always been there. There’s nothing new under the sun.
Lets be truthful to ourselves, how many young single guys out there have sellable potentials and how many with the sellable potentials are willing to face life like Bishop did if u wont hear excuses like government is bad and all that. Also the ones with the sellable potentials who amidst all odds still face life and still facing it are not left untaken just like Mummy Faith did with Bishop.
let me conclude with this; If women do not believe in men like Mummy Faith did with Bishop, then our factory workers who are married to university graduates wont be married and alot of the low income earners wont be married and we wont have alot of married women out there working hard to support their families.
Today Bishop’s children have all they need in place even if Jesus tarries cause their parents worked hard to put those things in place so they dont have to work as hard as they did.
Leke Beecroft life should be progressive. No child should suffer what his/her parents suffered……………….

Regards.

God indeed is faithfull and sure to do same in our lives.getting married to a poor man isn’t the problem.the problem is getting married to A “VISIONLESS” person. Papa is a man with great vision.we should go after a person with vision not just Television.so that we don’t end up watching the once with vision in our televisions.

Food for thought. but you realize today’s christian even Pastor’s as parent does not want their child to marry a man of vision without visible evidence but a man that has arrived from whatever quarters. may God help us not to miss our man/woman n position in life

Its every man or woman’s dream to be honoured wit fruitful marriage, just like that of my father in the Lord Bishop David O. Oyedepo. But it can not be posible without self believe and trust in God for what he can do.

Untill a man value the reason for his manhood and the woman the same, the we never understand the word plant a seed.
That was what our Papa n Mama did, and today the fruit is all over their lives
