A policeman attached to Governor Nyesom Wike’s COVID-19 task force team has gunned down his colleague, a female police officer controlling traffic at Eneka market, Portharcourt, Rivers state.

The task force team reportedly came to chase traders who were selling in the market on Thursday amid the lockdown order in the state when the police woman was shot.

A twitter user who shared the photo wrote: “the female police officer who controls traffic at the market was shot down by a policeman. The female policewoman was begging on behalf of a shoe trader who was arrested by the policeman from the taskforce team.

“The policeman threatened to shoot the trader if he doesn’t stop resisting arrest. As he pointed the gun the trader dodged the bullet only for it to catch the female policewoman on her head.

Comment *unfortunate ,I suggest the culprit st Bitrus Isaiah should be prosecuted because to the rank of sergeant one would have learned about team work and what it meant for one to beg on behalf of the other.
