Temitope and Osahon met on a random afternoon, at her cousin’s house in Atlanta, GA. They dated for two beautiful years before they walked down the aisle. About four months into their relationship, Osahon knew he was going to marry Temitope because in all his previous relationships, no one had made him feel this way or had brought out the husband side of him…….lol.
“Her personality, she has a very caring personality, there’s nothing more admirable than a person with a warm and God fearing heart. I knew I wanted to make her happy for the rest of her life”, says Osahon excitedly.
For their beautiful and romantic proposal, Osahon knows that Temitope is a special and dear woman to him and he proposed to her three times.

Our Proposal Story
Temitope
It was a clear and beautiful October afternoon, we had just got back from the annual Winship “Win the Fight” 5K Walk/Run (Osahon knows I love to run and I am always trying to recruit people to join me hehe). Anyways, he had suggested that he wanted to take me out that afternoon after the race so I asked him where we were going but he refused to tell me anything. The only thing he said was a “fun ride” and I would see when we get there, so not thinking anything else about it, I left it alone. I also remember asking him how I should dress and he replied, like we were going to an amusement park, so I got ready in my jeans & top (aint nobody got time for all that extra makeup things lol) and we left. When we got into the car, he put the destination address into the GPS and I drove us there…

…I had to make her drive so she wouldn’t suspect anything special was happening that day

Ha!….Anyways, the closer we got to the area and arrived at our destination, I realized we were at an airstrip, since I know he loves flying, I could only imagine we were going flying that day, he said he wanted us to spend the afternoon flying over the city of Atlanta, the city were we met each other. We walked into the office complex and meet with two guys who took us to the tarmac where our helicopter was waiting and we all got in. Shortly after we took off, I grabbed and held his hands like I randomly do and I could feel him shaking, I asked him why he was shaking and he replied “I’m just excited”, again being clueless as usual, I said OK o.

…I was NOT shaking, that was all in her head
Yeaaaa right… you were! So while we were in the air, about two thousand plus feet, he was trying to speak to me over the aircraft radio comms, but there was so much interference and I could hardly hear him, not knowing he was making a speech and trying to build up into popping the question, then he starts texting me…

Let me take it from here… so I’m trying to talk to this woman, telling her how much I loved her and all, then I realized she can’t hear me and was so into the scenery below us (Everyone who knows Tope knows she is a nature lover.), but I could hear everyone else (sad I picked a crappy headset to fly with), so I took my phone and started texting her but that wasn’t going too well either, it would send on my phone but won’t deliver on hers… lol, at this point I had to show her what I had typed on my phone, asking her if she would marry me, even though I didn’t have a ring on me and she said YES, ring or not, she will…

Hahaha… only because I didn’t want him jumping out of the aircraft, lol!
Anyway, after flying around the city, taking in the scenery, we headed back to the airport and landed, we got out of the helicopter thinking that was fun, little did I know it wasn’t over. He turns to one of the two gentlemen and asked if he could take a picture of us and hands him the camera, after the first two pictures were taken, he turns to me and goes down on one knee and says to me again… “I don’t have a ring yet but I have two witness standing here, I also know what I want and how much I love you and what I want, is to spend the rest of my life with you, will you marry me?” so again…. I said yes, then he says “well it’s not really official without a ring” and I’m thinking to myself… huh? He then reaches into his pocket and pulls out this gorgeous RING and says for the third time that day, “Temitope Odusanya, will you marry me?” and for the third time too, I said YES, he puts the ring on my finger and we hug… we kiss… took more pictures and tell each other I love you.

Hooooold up! What happened to the crying part? you crying and telling me how you love me blah blah…

What!? What crying part? There was no such thing…

Hehehe… photoshop! SMH, I am mad you did an UP CLOSE view of me crying. -_-…. Excuse my dressing yall…. I am a jeans and t-shirt chic and nobody warned me to get pretty. -_- ☺

Unfortunately no video evidence, the person who would have filmed it all came late, yes Silverline Okoroh came late so we left without her but I forgive her because it was through her Temitope and I met, right there in her apartment, on one blazing hot August summer afternoon, while making cocktails, don’t worry, that’s a different story.
