You know after having twins or a baby, in fact after any pregnancy, you kind of lose your ability to hold your tummy muscles in, they have relaxed and you have to remind yourself to keep your tummy tucked in.
On Wednesday night i was so exhausted after the hard day’s work, i took a shower and as I was drying myself in front of the mirror, my husband walked in unannounced and he was like ‘wow sweet, your tummy is big today o, what happened?’. I felt a little embarrassed and quickly cut in ‘yeah (in the most depressing voice ever), i have been kind of blotted all day’. He looked at me as though he felt sorry for me, gave me a hug, peed and left the room to check on the twins who were playing in their room. What my husband did not know was that my tummy did not look big, it is actually big haha and I was just too exhausted to suck anything in that night lol.
Thursday was kind of slow so later in the night as I was imagining how my weekend would go I told hubby that I wanted to go to my church, he insisted we had to go to his own (please don’t ask because that church story is long, i followed him to his church after we got married and just blended, one Sunday I kind of found myself at a neighborhood church and decided it was the best ever, see it reminds me of naija churches, so i decided that it was going to be my church). We argued a little, then I decided to keep my cool because there would always be days for me to go wherever i wanted, like Sundays when arsenal and Man U were playing or when he was out of town on business.
On Friday morning I told my husband I wanted to spend Valentine weekend resting because I needed my sanity and I was tired of doing the dishes, cooking or cleaning, I just wanted out. So ……..
We went away for the weekend on Saturday to come back on Monday We got to this fantastic resort and kids land, after waiting in line for about 2 hours to get tickets we settled down to have brunch before the kids could go for their fun games, as I stood up to clean the boys up, Omgosh my monthly visitor did not even knock it just came in without warning…… I went in the ladies and looked at the vending machine so helpless and about to pass out from exhaustion. I knew I have no quarters to get sanitary towels so I went out and told my husband the new development. The twins were so upset we were leaving and all they could do was throw tantrums, it took almost 30 minutes to strap them in their sits. As we made a right turn into the highway, we heard something slide from the top of the car, we looked at each other and then I quickly reached for my purse, I could not find my phone……. Noooooooo
It was my phone, You obviously know what happened, car tires went all over it and all I got back was scrap metal…..yeah that’s how my week went.
