Spellbound By Your Love: Sharon & Emmanuel’s Beautiful Wedding

image

When Emmanuel met Sharon, he just liked her as a friend and nothing more. He admired her beautiful and cheerful nature. When Sharon was not showing up in Church for some reasons, he knew he misses her face and he just brushed the it aside. One beautiful Sunday, he saw her again and his heart skipped. They became very good and inseparable friends.

In 2012, Emmanuel was very ill and everyone close to him deserted him; he was thinking Sharon might not have the strength to be with him in his darkest hour because everyone thought he would not survive it. Surprisingly, Sharon stood by his side, she kept on encouraging him with her beautiful words and with a smile on her face.

Their love story is a very beautiful and touching…….Enjoy

Love Story

Emmanuel

I first saw her at church(Christ Embassy, Masha),2003. Then I will go with my elder brother (Cyril) to his church for mid week service. I was a visitor. And so some Wednesday, I would notice her. She was always beautiful and cheerful. But we never talked. I felt she was a snub. Years after, she told me that I was the snub. After a while, I noticed she was no longer around. Heard they had been “sent forth” i.e to start a new Christ Embassy church (Randle), and I had to go to school. Though by this time, I was already a member of the church and in the choir

In 2008, I was back from school. I went to church the following Sunday, and there she was..looking beautiful and cheerful as always. And then she took a song by Kurt Carr and some of my friends in the choir were thrilled. I noticed she’s got a great voice but was also afraid to explore. And so I told her. She later joined the choir. We grew closer in our friendship but that was what it was because I never ever thought I would marry anybody from church. It never crossed my mind.

As the year grew by, we got closer and closer and she confided in me about things that were dear to her. And then in 2011, I think in November precisely, it was the first time that I wasn’t in a relationship and its been going on for over 7months. And I was really liking it. But then I started thinking of settling down early. I thought of my kind of woman.

Somebody fierce, cheerful, friendly and strong willed, down to earth and loves God..she fits into my criteria. And so I asked her out for a few times.. In early 2012, I was very ill with a lung infection and it lasted for 2years. I thought she would leave, she might not be cut out for such stress, because it was the darkest hour of my life. Some wrote me off, saying I wound not survive it. But she stayed, and always had this to say to me”this too shall pass.” Trust me, I’ve been through dark alleys and they all came and passed on but am still standing and moving forward.  She is truly an amazing lady.
